This half day training course will provide a practical introduction to identifying the outcomes produced by your programme and develop effective measurement tools to gather evidence of impact. Using case studies we examine techniques to think critically about who benefits and how. We then consider how outcomes, including less tangible soft outcomes, can be robustly measured using indicators and data collection. We also discuss “off the shelf” measurement tools including Outcomes Star and Social Return on Investment (SROI). Finally, we undertake a collaborative exercise to review how these approaches and techniques can be applied to the individual programmes of delegates.
